The total today for weight is well over the 100LB mark and there is more to harvest this morning.
It is hard to believe that you can every tire of eating Sugar Snap Peas. They are so delicious but if the Israelite in the Wilderness could grow weary of Manna from heaven I suppose it is possible. The heat has come up and the green vines wilted a light green and then brown. The Farmer's Daughter and Helper have pulled down the vines and replanted now with okra. Some of the peas were too big and so we shelled them and the Framer' Wife has put them in the freezer for us to eat on a later occasion when we hanker for the test of spring
In their place we have green beans. These are those of the thinnest type that the rarefied restaurant might sell calling them some French name. Nonetheless they are delicious.
Cucumbers have come in and I often eat one on the way to work and one coming into the house. These are the wonderful thin English type but the seeds came from Holland. 
Some things which are still in the ground are these wonderful beets. I have had to give so much away since we cannot all this bounty.
At the top of the page are the beautiful Magda squash that are from the Middle East. You will never see these in a market as just the touch of your hand can leave a mar that would make them less salable but no less tasty. I think that might work well in and old Slovene family recipe? Now the math 9.032 KG add to the previous total is 47.844 KG which is 105..26Lbs
